I have been talking about this move for six months now and I am so excited that the time has finally come!
I can’t wait to be able to soak up the culture and learn a new language. My husband and I promised each other that for the next three years, we will take advantage and travel while we are out there.
This big move overseas has been so nerve wrecking but at the same time exciting. To know that in a couple days, we will be living in a whole new country is giving me anxiety.
Since we have been living between Las Vegas and California for the past two months, we have been eating out a lot.
Our last date night in Las Vegas, I wore this dress to dinner with my husband. This Damask Print Dress was a hit! From the parking lot, to the hostess stand, to the table, and throughout the night, this dress got so many compliments that I was overwhelmed. This dress comes in three different colors, black, beige, and burgundy. I chose to go with the beige and black because I have one too many burgundy and black dresses in my closet.
Shein never disappoints me when it comes to getting my outfits from them. They have the best stuff to choose from.
I know that all of you have been asking me for months now where we are moving to and I have to apologize for not being so open about it. We decided that we wanted to make it a surprise and announce it once we are there. Being in the military, a lot changes at the last minute so we have learned to keep our mouths shut until all is done and final.
This year is definitely going to be a time in our lives that we will never forget. My husband has only been overseas for deployments so he is excited to finally be able to enjoy another country with me. As for myself, I have NEVER been out of the United States so my anxiety and stress level is on 100!
I have so many emotions that I can’t keep up with them! I am nervous because I don’t speak or understand the language, I am stressed because I don’t know what I’m getting into, I am excited because I get to experience a new life in a new country, I am thrilled because this will be an experience of a lifetime, I am happy because I will get to spend this time with my one and only true love, I am in shock because I can’t believe this is happening and last but not least, I am satisfied with the type of life we get to life.
Being a Military Wife has it’s perks and let’s not forget, it has it’s downfalls too. I get to experience the perks this time around. Thanks to my husband being in the Military, we get to live in a new country and majority of the the costs are covered by the government. The transition was easy because they move all of our things overseas for us, they take care of our flight plans, they move us into a home when we get there and they have meetings to help us transition into our new life.
The only stressful part about this move was getting our little fur babies ready for the move. Having to bring pets overseas has a process to it and it isn’t always smooth.
Luckily, my husband and I started the quarantine process before we even knew that we got the orders which was a toss up. We knew that if we didn’t get orders to move overseas, that the only bad thing was that we would lose out on $200.
Yes, it is a lot of money but we’d rather lose out on money than to not be able to take our babies with us. The last part was getting their health certificate, which needs to done within ten days of flying. Getting an appointment for that was the most stressful part of the process.
Basically, if for some reason your pets does not pass the health exam, you have less than ten days to figure out another way to get your pets there. That didn’t sit to well with me because these dogs are my life. Thank God, everything went well.
I will be posting more fashion posts this year but I will be adding my travel adventures as well, stay tuned for more!
