I have always been a fan of fashion and it is because of this beautiful woman right here. My mom has been my fashion idol since I was a little girl. Growing up, I loved watching her put her make up on, and watch her put her outfits together.
I am truly my mother’s daughter. From my attitude, to my sense of style, I got it from my mama! She has taught me so much and I owe it all to her!
We will rock a good dress no matter what season it is!
This dress is of course from my favorite online shop Shein. My mom and I don’t let the cold stop us from rocking a dress during the Winter. Plus, if you know me by now, you should know I live for dresses!
This dress can be worn in many ways. Below, you will be able to see the different ways that my mom styled it. From changing up just a few details, it will transform the whole look. This dress can also be worn throughout the year too. You just need to know how to style it correctly based on the season.
If you plan to wear this dress during the day for brunch then keep the colors light. She chose this khaki leather jacket to keep her warm for our lunch date.
You can throw on over the knee boots, like she did, or wear it with peep toe booties, or heels, you name it, it will work. Check out some of these shoes that would go well with this dress.

If you are worried about exposing your legs during this cold weather, all you have to do is wear stockings.
Throw on your favorite black Winter coat and your are good to go.
I am barely outdoors when it comes to Winter but if you are planning to be outdoors and still want to rock this dress then I’d say layer up baby!
Layer up by using a long warm cardigan under your coat, because when you take your coat off, you will still have the option to stay warm by leaving your cardigan on.
Wrap a cute cozy scarf and throw a cute knit beanie or some people call it a skull cap to keep your head warm too.
When it comes to Winter, you have to learn how to layer up without looking crazy or looking like a person rolled up in a bunch of blankets.
You can still look fabulous being layered and bundled up. My mom also decided to throw on her black fur vest to make this outfit look chic during our night out.
Just by changing up one thing, it made the outfit look different. A faux fur vest is such a versatile piece to have!
Throw on a pair of Prada Sunglasses like my mom did and look like a boss!
Why not rock a Prada Handbag while your at it.
My mom and I are best friends and seriously have the same taste. We literally steal clothes from each other as long as it fits. The only thing that are off limits for us are shoes, and that is only because we are NOT the same size.
It doesn’t matter what age you are, you can be a fashionista at any age! This post is proof that you don’t have to be a certain age to rock a certain style. My mom has swag even at the age of 58 !!!
