My husband and I always think of new and exciting ways to gift each other.  We believe that no matter how long we have been married, we keep the fire and spark alive by continuing to surprise each other with different gifts and adventures.

Marriage is very important to us so when it comes to gifts, we go above and beyond to make it special.  My husband is not always around because his job has him traveling to different areas for months at a time.  Sometimes he and I are not together for our special dates such as birthdays and anniversaries.  Most times we celebrate it with a phone call and postponing our celebration for a later time.

Next month is my husband’s birthday.  Unfortunately, I will not be able to celebrate it with him on the actual day.  We planned to celebrate it a bit early.  Since Labor Day weekend is right around the corner, I am taking a trip to visit him.  I am so excited about it, not only because I get to spend quality time with the man I love, but I also get to visit a state that I have never been to.
