Two things in my life are important… One is my faith in God and second, is my marriage.

When it comes to my faith, I have no choice but to believe that God is real and that he has my back. I always put God first no matter what.  He has been there for me in so many ways that my faith is what keeps me going.

When it comes to my marriage, my husband is my gift from God.  Marriage is a sacred bond between me, my husband and God and my marriage is very important to me.  I plan to keep this marriage going for as long as God allows me to.

The majority of things in my life, I have failed at, so when it comes to my marriage, I refuse to fail.  My husband is my gift from God, and in return, I will continue to keep my faith strong and keep the promise I made to God which is to take good care of this gift he has given me.

Every year when our anniversary gets close, I always try to get my husband the best gift I could give him.  Like I mentioned earlier, my husband is the best gift that I have ever received, so I do not want to penny pinch when it comes to my getting him gifts.

The one thing I love about my husband is that he does not care much for material things, he leaves that part for me.  Ha ha.   All he ever asks me for is to continue to love him unconditionally and to look after his heart.

I have no problem doing that, but with all that said, I still feel he deserves more.  When it comes to gifts, I am the type of girl that will look up what type of gifts are appropriate for a specific year.

I have been married for over 5 years now, and the first 5 years of marriage is important because in my opinion, that is when you learn the most about each other.  For the first 5 years of my marriage, I have learned so much about my husband, as well as myself as a wife.  It is a different lifestyle when you get married because you have to share everything with someone else and it takes time to learn how to be good at it.  It can be such a beautiful experience if you allow it to be.
