Who is Harry? Why is her line called Harry Rex?

The beautiful and talented designer of Harry Rex Style named her line Harry Rex because it is the name of her late grandfather from Bristol, England. She described him as a man full of charisma and many more great things. She wanted to capture a piece of who he was into her work and share it through fashion.

Behind the designer, who is she?

Amy has been into fashion from her early stages of life. From sketching fashion illustrations to making clothes out of her dad’s shirts to now creating beautiful pieces for us to enjoy! She is not only a talented designer; she has experienced trauma in her life from a major car accident which put her passion for fashion on the side for awhile. She received speech therapy because of it and because of the help she received she found a new passion for Speech Language Pathology. Although her passion for fashion did not disappear, it was always there and was always her number one. She then decided that she will continue with her talent and design these fantastic outfits for the world to wear!

About her line

Harry Rex style is for the everyday woman. I love her line because you can dress it up and dress it down. I work in an office all day, and her pieces are so versatile that I can go from day to night without having to change. When you are a working woman, having an outfit that you can wear anywhere is a plus. It not only helps us tone down our spending but it gives us the opportunity and flexibility to do more with less. I am a fan of her work, and I am excited to be a part of this journey with her.

In her words, “My goal is to keep growing, keep learning, and keep making the women around me feel beautiful in their own skin.”

If her words are not inspiring to you, then, I do not know what will move you or excite you the way it does for me. Every woman goes through a stage of accepting the way we were made. Every woman goes through the ups and downs of learning to love the way we look. To be able to put on an outfit, a pair of shoes, or a piece of jewelry that makes you feel beautiful in your own skin, is amazing. If that is what Harry Rex wants to deliver to us, then I am all for it and excited to see what is in store for us next!

This camo jacket is a sneak peek of her Spring and Summer 2017 collection. Camo prints can be a challenge because it gives you an edgier look and less femininity but adding rhinestones and cute patches change the whole look and feel to it. Putting on this blinged out camo jacket made me feel beautiful, feminine, sexy and stylish all at the same time.
