Our trip to The Botanical Gardens in Phoenix Arizona was definitely interesting. Although it was very hot, we enjoyed ourselves. We took a break from the heat and had lunch at Gertrude’s, which is a nice restaurant that was located in the garden. The food and service was great. They also had a little shop where I was able to get a few cool things. The admission was $20 but active duty military is free. We didn’t plan on coming here so we were unprepared for the weather and the walk. I would recommend that you come in comfy shoes because this place is huge, a hat would be useful because it’s obviously outdoor, bring water to hydrate and take lots of pictures lol.
