Our visit to Luke Airforce Base was a great experience. We got to see and hear the fighter jets which was pretty cool. We stayed at the Fighter Country Inn which is lodging for military families on vacation or ones that got orders here and needs a temporary place to stay.  It is basically an apartment not a hotel room. It has a full kitchen (utensils, pots and pans included), dining room, family room, master bedroom, extra bedroom with 2 twin beds (great for kids or family members), lots of closet space, washer & dryer, pets are allowed and they provide kennels for your pets as well. This place was spacious and clean. There is a big court yard in the middle which is great for your pets to run around.  The commissary and PX is conveniently across the street along with a gas station and Burger King. It is about 30 minutes from Phoenix and 15 mins from the Cardinals Stadium. We enjoyed our stay here at Luke Airforce Base and had a great time in Arizona.
